Wyoming preference points

Postby huntfishtrap247 » 07 01, 2014 •  [Post 1]

How do I purchase just a preference point for Wyoming? When I log into my licensing account there is no option for purchasing a preference point, but it is supposed to be open today for preference points only. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I thought it was July 10th. But either way I just logged on to make sure and looks like it's just not up yet. You logged in correctly. Just have to be patient with them.

Paul you will have until end of Sept to buy a point. My son & I will have 9 this year & we generally pick one up on the WY Site at the end of July!

Elknut1, you guys are going to have your choice of some very good hunts in the future!! How long until you cash them in?

I've got one elk point from being unsuccessful in the draw this year. I'll pick up a deer and antelope point today.

Good to know the points can now be purchased, thanks!

NoWiser, yes my son & I are sitting back banking points at this time hoping for a special hunt together before I get too old to wander through the mountains aimlessly! (grin) We have a few units we're looking at but it will take a few more points & max point guys using theirs before it becomes a reality! No problem though we still hunt OTC elk every year! When we draw a WY tag it will just be a bonus! (grin) Good luck to you!

thanks for the heads up. we are starting to build points this year for a hunt in the big horns. I have a buddy who has a buddy who lives and hunts there with an open invite to come out. so I will sorta have a guide :)
