Solar-powered Game Cam

This past Saturday I went for a morning excursion to setup my single game camera. Last summer I was able to head up every several weeks, download the photos, and replace the batteries. But this summer - with a new baby around - that won't be possible. It'll be tough to get up once more before the season starts, so I'm unhappily looking forward to the day when I arrive at my camera to find that the batteries have been dead for the past few weeks. Later I began researching solar power options for game cameras, and although it's kind of confusing to me, here is what I gathered:

Most newer game cams have an external power port. I don't have a 4-mile-long extension cord, however, so that port could only be used with some other type of external power. I discovered that I can buy a large lunch-box-sized battery and hook these up to the camera, and also get a solar panel with a particular voltage rating to keep these batteries charged. However, these batteries are large - therefore heavy (no fun carrying up the mountain) and obvious (other hunters are much more likely to notice the electrical power plant I plan to install in the middle of the elk woods). Seems to me that this option was better suited to whitetail hunters or private land. So I'm looking for other solutions, maybe one where I can hook a solar panel directly into the camera?

Any suggestions?

Just get cams that Use A A Batts n use lithiums. Last all year.
