What bivvy bag?

Postby twinkieman » 06 19, 2014 •  [Post 1]

For those of you who use a bivvy, opinions on what is medium cost, doesn't create a ton of condensation?

I used a Tigoat Raven Omni last year under my paratarp with no condensation issues. Last year was my first trip out west but I've used it here back east without any issues.

I like this one, but I use it with a UL tarp.

I hate being in a bivy sack. I would rather carry a floor less shelter like the Go-Lite Shangri-La. I have a bivy and sometimes use it for extra insulation, but would go insane if I was trying to weather a storm using it as my only shelter.
