storage of hunting gear

So this may seem like a silly question but this past weekend I was out working in the garage and going through gear. Currently I keep all my stuff packed in big plastic storage bins. Its difficult to organize and they get heavy when lifting above head onto shelves while standing on a ladder.

Got me thinking if there was a better method to storing my gear. How do you all organize/store your hunting equipment during the off season?

If I had separate gear that I didn't use year-round for turkey hunting and camping Id probably store it all in my backpack in the closet or at least what I could.

If you find one let me know. I have the same problem, 24x24 garage I have to back the truck or car to get at things

I keep mine in a tote inside a hunter specialties "zip-loc" bag. Keep scent in(earth wafers) and unwanted scents out. Also zip tie the tote shut to keep the move out.

All the camp gear and hunting gear is stored, stacked on one side of the garage, not on shelves and not overhead
Im not a prepper,.. but I'm pretty much ready to go and can load the truck in less than a minute if I needed to impress someone
Most of my heavy outerwear for winter hunting and activities I have on a clothes rod in front of the garage
I have and use two Contico tool boxes and a few
Plano Sportsman's boxes.

the Contico boxes will fit a small boned elk plus ice elk Generally going to the hunt the box will keep my sleeping bag, pack and tent clean out to the hunt . the rest of the box has meat handling supplies
the other Contico box has my winter 2000 gram hunting boots, Rifle hunting supplies including a meat. hunting pack
One Plano box keeps all of my clothes

One Plano box keeps my archery hunting clothes
Ive bought a Plano box for each of my daughters for hunting clothes on trips,..


Sort of funny now, Two friends shared a huge farm house in Minnesota. Huge kitchen , big living room , pool table room and the "DUCK room. most of the married friends kept their hunting clothes ands waders hung up on racks around the whole room

A year ago we ordered the sportsman's boxes thru Walmart $21.00 each,.. generally you will find then for 39-49.00 I saw the Heavy duty version today for 56.00
If I were to do it over Lowes has tool storage boxes, bright yellow and black,.. I would get a bunch, big enough to hold what you need but small enough to manage

10x12' shed holds wall tent, poles, stove, cots, sleeping bags, hunting clothes, boots, come-along, jacks, tire chains, towing stuff, propane tanks, lawn mower, weed whacker, Christmas decorations, lawn hand tools, chain saw, fishing gear, file cabinets, gun cases, archery gear, camp kitchen, hitch cargo rack, tarps, bikes, and a miscellaneous assortment of whatev. Hunting clothes sealed in plastic tubs w sagebrush.

I have been eyeing up those Rubbermaid action packers. Not cheap but they should last a while. They are like a cooler without the foam. I thought if I added some spray foam between the walls it could serve as overflow meat storage.

I also use the plastic containers. I don't need to stack them over three high. The problem I have is throwing out junk. I am not a collector, but the old stuff never seems to never get thrown out either.

I have two big igloo coolers that I take with me hunting. When the seasons over with, I stuff them full with all of my camo and misc gear. Plus I have another plastic tote for the remainder. I then set up a collapsible table and use it as a shelf for stuff that I need during the off-season and I put tents and other large items under the table. All of it is in my basement.
