Boot insoles??

I just bought some to try,they are from Red Wing Shoe Co. A little pricey $45 but they give you a 90 day money back. I have not done it yet but you put them in the oven at 200 degree for 2 min put them in you boot and it forms to your foot. I know the guy who sell them he said he sells a bunch of them. I see your from Wisconsin if you ever get to Red Wing MN look up Walt's shoe store he sell them cheaper than Red Wing Shoe store they want $60

all my boots have the superfeet green in them.

i had Flex spending money left over a few years ago and just grabbed like four sets. they work pretty well on my feet.

Maybe I have got the wrong ones. I have had the Dr. Scholls insoles and I hate them. They wad up or fold creating creases, and make my feet more sore than leaving them out. In fact there is a pair of them behind the front seat, in the passenger compartment of the car right now. I took them out and hid them there as they will get put back in my shoes, if my wife sees them. She does not understand why I say they get wadded up, and she is trying to do me a favor. Dr. Scholls is long on advertising, but short on comfort.

I worked in a factory, constantly on my feet for 8 hours. Bought a pair of work boots and had those inserts installed. Best money I have ever spent!!!

The $250 I spent on 3 pairs of custom footbeds 20 years ago was the best $ I ever spent on hunting. I still have and use all 3 pairs. One is made of cork and does not bend, that stays in my alpine ski boots. The other 2 pairs move between athletic shoes, tele boots and hiking/hunting boots. My feet stay much more comfortable; warmer on cold days and cooler in warm weather. Boot linings and socks last longer because these footbeds don't slip around and neither do my feet, that prevents most blisters. Boots break in a little faster when I replace the factory footbeds w mine, and all shoes fit better. I can hike and hunt farther with much less foot discomfort.

Check out REI if there is one near you. They offer different brands and have some you can try in your boots.

Check out the ones from the Kenetrek boot company. I was pounding the heck out of my soles. Put a set in and they are like a dream.

The Dr. Scholls insoles I have came from Mal Wart. I got them off the rack, in their drug store section. As far as I am concerned, it would have worked as well, if I had taken out the factory insoles, traced the outlines on a paper bag, cut them out, and glued the insoles to the paper, then put that back inside my boots. At least there would have been no creases or wrinkles. The next time I get to a better outlet, I will look to find a better product.

Our Malwart had the kiosk that measures your feet and prescribes an insert. I broke down and spent the 50$. Probably not as custom as a $200 job, but I could tell the difference immediately. My feet don't hurt in the morning like they used to. I used to hobble around the house the first 15 min everyday like and old, old man. (NO OFFENSE, SWEDE)

Do you need to get a larger size boot to accommodate for the space the better insoles take up.

Depends on the insoles. I buy boots after trying them on w my own insoles. I end up w about 1/2 size larger than if I were using factory footbeds in some shoes; in others, same size.

Superfeet Merino Wool insoles worked amazingly well in my Zamberlan's last year.
