Looking for a partner for N. Idaho and maybe N.W. Mt.

Postby Olydog09 » 05 12, 2014 •  [Post 1]

It looks like my normal elk hunting partner is going to be stuck in Boise this year. I am interested in finding another like minded hunter to participate in scouting and hunting North Idaho and possibly N.W. Montana. I live in Spokane,Wa and would be most interested in someone that has the ability to do a fair bit of scouting and hunting but it would not be a deal breaker if you are not able to do much scouting. I am also open to hunting Montana in addition to Idaho if anyone else is as well. I mostly hunt archery but will also do muzzleloader and rifle seasons. I am neither a novice or pro at elk hunting. I am however passionate and willing to work hard to get elk on the ground for myself and others. I am open to hunting as partners or splitting up for the hunts and coming back to the same camp at night. I have some spots in unit 6 of Idaho that I would be willing to share but I am wanting to hunt some different units that are easier to get away from people. Unit 4 is my preference but I am open to about anything if there are elk there. I like to pack in but I have a tent trailer to use as a base camp as well depending on the situations that arise. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and we can chit chat a bit and see if we might be a good fit.
