kifaru late season pack?

What is every ones thoughts on the kifaru late season pack as a day pack? I am wanting to get a new day pack cause my monster truck phanny isn't cutting it any more. This will be my hunt everything day pack from elk deer and bear. I will probably use it for vacationing to. Would this be a good day pack or do you guys think i should go with the kifaru spike camp? Thanks guys for the help!

I forgot to add that is like it to be able to haul out a first load of meat if needed. And though this is a small possibility I might use it on a over night trip for just one night.

I was looking very hard at the Late Season Legacy but ultimately decided on the BT1 pack. The Late Season pack looks like a great pack as well.

i have a BT2. great pack, but i kinda think i got caught up in that Kifaru windstorm. it is supercomfy..i was walking around my backyard with it yesterday..and my mystery ranch dragon slayer. super comfy.

but i think it is hard to justify (for me!) a kifaru pack nowadays when so many companies are making packs where you can put the meat on a shelf between the bag and frame. i think it is the best idea for meat packs in a long time. nice to not have the heaviest part of your load cantilevered way out there behind you. and nice to not have the load of meat inside the pack above your clothing, and lunch.

IF i could do i all over again, and according to my wife..i CANT. i would get that small Stone Glacier day pack. i think they call it the Approach. as is is now, first load out with either pack..second load out with the empty kifaru, meat on the outside pulled up tight with the "Grab-it". whatever..i'm done chasing the best pack.

I had a kifaru and sold it. It is a really nice pack but I didn't love the belt (even though most do) and the compression system built into it didn't impress me. I didn't want to add more components (expense) just to compress loads adequately. I have a stone glacier and it suits me better. I used it as a day pack last year and loved it. Lightweight and compresses down small. I used it to pack out game as well and it carries a heavy load well.

Many others prefer kifaru and I respect that as they are allowed. I'm allowed my opinion too. Not bashing, just sharing.

I used a badlands sacrifice for one year and it just isn't in the same category as stone glacier and kifaru in my opinion. It also doesn't cost as much either so there is a give and take there too. My hunting partner has used the full curl for two years and liked it pretty well. However, he bought a kifaru this year to try out.
