Phantom16, need your experience

Postby timberland » 04 04, 2014 •  [Post 1]

Just picked up the Blue Widow from another member and am in the process of adjusting for best fit. Read in another post about you adjusting yours and we are about the same height, so can you tell be where your yoke is set. I would like to get that set first before I start bending stays. Any other tips or suggestions would be appreciated, also. Thanks

Barry, I'll check where I have my yoke adjusted at tonight and send you a note. When I got my pack, I actually had Slim9300 (Conlan) swing by to help me fit the BW (he's a smart cat on packfitting and a Kifaru pro-staffer). I'll ask him to chime in on your thread if he has any specific BW fitting recommendations. I know he used to own a BW also. In the mean time, here's a good fitting VID from Eberlestock if you haven't seen it yet. More to follow........

Barry, I have my yoke strap as low as it can go on the webbing. I believe this is the way to go for taller guys.
