Sure haven't, but last weekend on a ranch in Ellensburg I saw a small 6x6 that hadn't dropped yet, and another larger bodied bull that had split, velvety nubs. They were bedded on someone's property 50 yards or so from the fencline. I never find elk sheds in Western WA. I found tons in Utah.

I am headed to N. Idaho this weekend and next for some shed hunting and to put an eyeball on some new spots. If I am lucky enough to find some I will put up some pics.

Im headed out on the 12 and 13th. in the area I hunt. Not really wintering ground but found a heavy 6x6 three years ago, matched pair 100 yards apart
Found a 5x5 mulie that would have been 30 plus. Laying nice and neat on each side of the bucks bed. Even more wierd it was the highest location on top of a lava dome. Just big enough for a deer bed
I have a student , 2 weeks ago, his family picked up a bunch deer, moose and elk

You're kidding! Small world . . . yep we were coming out of Colockum too, looking for signs of thunderchickens. No luck. :? There were 3 other elk there that looked like cows, but could've been bulls. I couldn't tell. Their sheds are probably on that ranch. LOL

Funny you ahould ask. I packed everything except my hammock. So I slept right next to my yellow lab. I had 2 tarps so I used one as a bivy and wrapped my underquilt and topquilt in that.
