Elk Hunting Seminar with Jason Phelps (Western Washington)

Elk hunting gals & guys,

Because some of us (yours truly, mostly) just cannot seem to get the knack of using mouth calls (especially the diaphragm) to communicate with elk, we have planned a seminar. We have asked (pleaded with?) Jason Phelps to make a long drive over to the west side of Puget Sound (across the water from downtown Seattle), and give us some sorely needed instruction.

Jason will broadly discuss the general strategy of elk hunting (for all weapons, bows/muzzleloader/rifle), and cover the basics of fitness, equipment, seasons, &c. Then he will go into the specifics of elk calling, using both the spun reed and diaphragm.

If any of you Elk Nuts live in this area, please mosey on over and share a morning with us. Venison burgers from the BBQ to be served afterwards.

When: Saturday, May 17th, 2014; 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon
