Arizona draw come on already!

Postby Csrbowhunter » 03 12, 2014 •  [Post 1]

When are we going to find out about this draw? Plus I called them a month ago and some how they don't have all my points together. The lady on the phone said she would link the points together but just checked and they are still not. I'm sure that not going to help my chances.

You mean the frustration isn't helping to pass the time during the off season? lol

The only state I ever call and end up getting a quick answer every time is Wyoming. Talking to those folks is like calling your aunt or uncle who has all the answers. Not only do they give me a solid answer immediately but they are pleasant. We end up chatting a little and they thank me for taking the time do educate myself before calling with a good question. Sometimes calling Montana is more like calling your neighbor who doesn't even fish and asking him a technical question about elk management. Doh!

Good luck in the draw csr!

Indian ,
I know what you mean in the same day I called Arizona I also called Ohio and they were suppost to email me the directions to order my hunter's safety course card. That never happened either. I took that course when I was 14 so I don't have my card anymore but all the states seem to require it. I BS my way in Montana when I got my bowhunter permit the first time. I don't know why they require that when I've been bowhunting for 30 yrs. I could understand if I was a young pup! I guess rules are rules.

When exactly is the draw done? It was my understanding after reading this year's regs that the draw wouldn't take place until mid-April. Is that not correct? My acct right now does not have enough in it to cover the tag. I can transfer some around but would prefer to wait until next week when my next check goes in. Don't want to lose a tag if due to no money if I happen to get drawn though...

PAC ,
The outfitter told me he was waiting on the results before he put in for NM and NM has to be in bye march 18. When I called AZ they told me everyone waits before they apply for NM. She said some years they come out before and some years they don't. Good luck on the draw.

Ok, thanks. This is my first year applying so I don't really know how the system works. I moved money just to be sure. No way in hell I'm gonna lose a tag for a reason like that!! Best of luck to you too.

I believe credit cards started to get hit on March 23 last year. I have my cc set up so I get a text on any charges over $500 so I will know if it happens. My guess, which is exactly that, is the end of next week or early the week of March 23 will see the hits start.

They have been hitting cards since March 20. Either the wife or I have a tag, now the wait to see who and where!

Man I haven't seen any activity on my card. Must mean I'm not getting a tag.

Man, how can you tell if you got a tag? I keep checking and it just shows the same number of points that I always had.

My hunting partner's father was drawn for muzzleloader and I am going along for the hunt and pack out. Should be incredible. Looks like a 90% success rate. Can't wait.
