elk sheds.

okay so i know when our local whitetail, moose and mule deer drop their antlers, but i have limited experience with elk. seems to me like they will be dropping anywhere from now to mid april, am i correct? if it matters, im talking rocky mountain elk in northeastern washington. want to get out and look but ive been shying away from the areas where the elk are hanging out right now, in the interest of not pushing them onto private land before they drop.
