does anybody use them? do they work? Hard to set up? Any input would be helpful. It seems like cheap insurance for those fast charging bulls. If they work

I've used them for the last couple years. They work great at short range. I tried adding pins in mine and using it out to 80 yards and it isn't really designed for that. Inside 50 they are pretty accurate and easy to use. Still prefer laser but don't always have time so it is a cheap back up

Is it easy to change from whitetail to elk?

It is easy if you are doing them as separate hunts. It wouldn't work if you were doing a combination hunt where you had to change it in the field b/c your target species changed in the moment.

You could switch species in 5 minutes no problem.

I have 2 on my site. One set up for elk and the other for mulies, don't see why it wouldn't work for any species.
