Got my binocs

Postby Toby » 03 12, 2014 •  [Post 1]

I got a pair of 8x32 Vortex Diamondbacks from Paul and had a chance to try them out today. I think they will be just right for my style of hunting, run and gun or walk and gun at my age. I took a walk in our woods that is quite hilly and i can see 3/4 mile on some hillsides. The view was crystal clear and the binocs are easy to focus. Vortex makes quality stuff. I like the small size of this pair and love the Vortex chest strap that I ordered extra, it is excellent. It keeps the binocs on my chest ready for use and I didn't even notice they were there as I was hiking. I had larger sets of glasses that I would usually leave in camp due to their size/weight. I can see taking these all the time, nice and compact. I am a Bowhunter only and don't sit and glass for long periods, just need something that will help me see more detail in the woods and occasionally identify a distant object as being an elk or not.

Congrats on a great choice , you should get many years out of those and will enjoy the compact size and weight.
