Wow! I have to say, that I think this perfectly illustrates one of the shot placement threads from last month or so. It was a frontal shot at just about the same angle. Maybe RJ or someone can dig it up.

Pretty cool! Yes, I've seen some things like that. My bull from this year was on the ground in less than 10 seconds, seemed like 3, though I shot him slightly quartered away; went like 10 yards. Nothing better than watching them fall!

That shot was awesome! The funny thing is I've passed on that shot many times cuz I've always heard that you only have a spot the size of baseball to hit or you just hit shoulder blade. I don't like taking chances that could wound the animal but not kill it! Some of those years I might have came home with meat instead of a tag if I would have taken that shot.
