Colorado antler point question

Hi all, have a question on the Colorado antler point regs.
I have heard different things, and wanted to try and get some confirmation. I downloaded the statutes and regs from Colorado's website, and as to antler restrictions, Section #254, which includes our unit, says, "shall have four (4) or more points or a brow tine on one antler."
Does that mean 4 points total, 4 on one antler, or a beam and a brow tine on one side?

As long as one side has 4 points you are ok. A point being defined as an inch or longer I believe. Even if the other antler is lacking a point. If neither antler has 4 points, the bull will still be legal if its brow tines are at least 8 inches. NOT A SPIKE (though some units allow spikes). A brow tine by definition would imply that it's still a branch anterled bull, even though it might not have the required 4 points...make sense? Wow that was confusing to type and hope that comes across as understandable.

atfrith is on the money except that a brow tine only needs to be 5" long. One point counts if it is 1" or longer.

Ok, so 4 points on one side or a forked antler with the brow tine being at least 5 inches long? Is that right?

Doesn't even need to be a forked anler, just a brow tine at least 5" long.

Think of it as a bull was fighting and broke off most of its antler or injured them in the growth stage.
