A Late Winter, Elky Toast!

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 02 28, 2014 •  [Post 1]

It's been a long week and it's finally Friday. Folks are tired of freezing, snowy, or even rainy weather and it's wearing on them. Tolerance levels for usually trivial concerns seem to be at an all time low. I'm always Mr. Positive and try to find silver linings in every seemingly dark cloud at work and otherwise. Why be sad when you can be happy, right? Why not be productive versus being lethargic? Why not shrug off some things we don't agree with and move forward? It's an individual decision. At any rate, I'd like to raise my Red Hook ESB and toast all you crazy Elknuts who frequent this site. We are almost officially closer to the elk season in front of us than the one behind ;) .

Somebody asked a few days ago how many members does this forum have? Heck, I don't know but I think quite a few. If you're a member of this forum, I ask you to raise your glass of whatever your beverage of choice is and give a toast back. After all, this is the best elk forum in existence. I toast you all, wish you good health, and thank you for being a member of this fine elk hunting campfire! RJ

I'll raise some rocky mountain faucet water. (The Pale Ale's from earlier gave me a premature headache)

I wasn't going to have a beer but when I read this thread I decided to get off my butt and go get a Moose Drool. I have limited stock brought back from Montana. It's like a moment in time where I'm back in elk country.

Cheers guys & gals!

Craig, I'm going to guess that's a beer? I've never seen on of those. Maybe I need to get out more! (grin)
