Eagle Mountain Outfitters?

Has anyone used Jon Sund from Eagle Mountain Outfitters for a drop camp?

I did a search and it appears a few have visited, but I didn't see any recent updates.

I'm stuck between a few camps and wanted to get some perspective since this would be for the first week of September.

Would your preference be to get up higher or lower? I'd think higher to glass from a vantage point. Any calling this early or mainly spot and stalk?

Upper Coffee Pot-10,657 elevation
Soap Basin- 9,768 elevation
East Soap-9,840 elevation

If anyone has stayed in any of the camps or had a good experience let me know.

Hello Dave. Do a search using different wording, you should find some useful info. I recall reading a few post about this outfitter and area.

I am no expert but I would focus on early season tactics. Spot and stalk , sitting water and some lite calling should do the trick. If its warm and dry water will be key. Maybe John could give you some insight on water sources in those areas.

Should have been there last year....the opener treated people in that area quote well.
