will heavy rain cause my bowsight range tape to fall off at the worst possible moment?

I have not had that problem. My tape has been on for a couple years. If your worried set your site and marks and use clear packing tape. The stuff they use to seal boxes to ship. Cut a piece wider than the range tape and cover over it. It has been waterproof for me. Only bad problem with this if you make an adjustment to your bow you can not change your marks with the clear packing tape.

Mine has been on my sight for 6 years and never had to replace it and with a 4 month bow season here it's been through many rain storms.
