Hi, my names David and I have been looking at this site for a couple of months now. Just thought that it was about time I join. I've lived it Texas all my life and have hunted since I was little. I'm 35 in January and don't know why I am want to start chasing elk. Just wanting to say hi and thank everyone for the wealth of information on this site. looking to start putting in for Colorado's draw units along with going over the counter if I don't draw.

Welcome to the campfire David. Pick an empty chair and make yourself comfortable. Pour your own coffee. My first advice is don't sit next to cnelk. The smoke seems to go to wherever he is sitting. He has tried to convince us it has something to do with beauty, but I could come up with more likely explanations.
