Using a diaphragm with a partial?

I have a dental partial and I have trouble getting them to fit right and have lots of trouble getting my sounds right. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you fix it.What diaphragm do yall recommend?

I have a "nontypical" mouth structure, and have struggled w diaphragm calls. I don't get a consistent air seal, and make shushing sounds along with the intended tones. I got some Primos reeds w plastic domes built into the frames last fall, those gave some improvement. I have done well w Carlton bite and external reed calls as an alternative for cow talk. Have not found a great external reed bugle, but I don't bugle much anyway. It seems to scare away the little people of the forest that hunt w me.

I got a new set of uppers and it messed up my calling pretty bad. So now when I want to use a diaphragm I just take them out and put them in my pocket. I have to leave them in if I use an open reed call which I very seldom ever use,
