Bull Mountains Montana

Does anyone have any knowledge about the Bull Mountains in Montana? Is this a good area for elk? Any info would be greatly appreciated. The area east of U.S. Highway 87 and southeast of Roundup, Montana.

You planning outfitted or diy? I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure the access around Roundup is very difficult for the diy guy.

Bill Krenz did a video on an elk hunt there years ago. The time was probably the late 1980s or early 1990s. He and his new wife were hunting and got elk. He did not have a guide in the video that I remember, but was probably on private land. He may have just paid for access.
