Broadhead target- BLOB

I am sick and tired of shooting through my broadhead target, damaging broadheads, and messing up fletchings. I started looking into the BLOB target and it looks awesome and could possibly last forever. They are made in Georgia. I have talked to the owner about shipping some out west, but he said the only way to make it cost effective is to ship in bulk - which means 12 targets (40"x36" ~200lbs). He has priced them at $195/target with shipping included. I am trying to find out if there is any interest out there from guys in Idaho. They would be shipped here to Boise, Idaho.

Let me know if there is interest. I wasn't sure if this was the appropriate place to post this.

P.S. I could bring some targets up to McCall, hint, hint Paul - j/k.

By the way, I have no affiliation with BLOB targets. I just want a good, long lasting target for a decent price- otherwise it would cost me $400 to have 1 target shipped out here.

i think i got a quote from him for a small one..about the same price. cant find the email now. it is about half the size..20x20"?

$200 for a big one would be fantastic.

Am I reading their site correct where it states the blob large target weighs in at 200# -- That's a bit much to move around?

Paul I am sure you could figure a way to fit it into your Kifaru and use it for one of your daily workouts . . . hahahaha. I imagine you pick your shooting spot and leave it there. It is a lot of money up front, but you should see the savings in the long run by not having to buy a new BH target every few years. So, is that a yes from you Paul (haha)?

It's not the money it's the wt!!! I like moving targets around or hauling them to camp 200# does not fit into that equation. I'd rather spend a 150.00 every couple of years on new ones so not a big deal. That Kifaru isn't all cracked up to its hype, I'll most likely be getting rid of it! (grin) I'm definitely in the market for a pack more suitable to elk hunting not just back packing. I hate saying it but the Kifaru just isn't cutting it.

Wapiti..how did this play out? i'm thinking of trying to organize a big delivery to the california bay area. did it go thru?

I have had zero interest from anyone in Idaho. I wish there were more interest, because these targets look like they would be an everlasting broadhead target.

Not to hijack the thread but Paul.. have you considered the NEW model of the Badlands 2200? Now has 2900 ci of space. You know I've been at it awhile and I'll admit I haven't used others so I can compare but I absolutely love mine. Light enough, packs a quarter, and the new layout is just so nice. Maybe you can find one at a retailer over there to check out.

I have a blob.....they are the best targets out there. Been pounding mine with Broadheads for a few seasons
