I just want to express my appreciation for all of you who have served, or are serving in the military. Without you, this forum might not be possible, and our hunting heritage might also not exist. My sincerest thanks to you all. Enjoy this day , it is for you!!! Thanks again

Agreed, big thanks go out to all who have served or are serving. Proud to have a son in law serving in Afganistan right now. His tour will end next month & will get to meet his first born child next month for the very first time..that's gonna be a terrific reunion!

No doubt, we need to appreciate our veterans. I volunteered, but I have never thought the Nation owes me a thing. I was pleased and proud to do my little part. I still think that way. I was and am no hero. I was just doing my duty. As I said before, "Ah gee shucks, think nuthin of it". It was an honor to serve.
