Almost Here!!!!!

Well the time has almost come!! Checking the last goggle earth maps one more time.... I see the USGS and forest maps of our area in my sleep...the checklist are gone over for the uptenth time... the path is beat into dust for 50 yards from my front door to my target.. ......Made the last phone calls to the CO and forest people... and all the others I called to find out all I can about the area we are going too..... trailer is all packed......Filling the truck with gas and putting in the buckets of ice in the cooler along with the groceries and will TRY to get some shut eye tomorrow nite (Wed.). Thursday way before the sun comes up here in SE Nebr. we ( my buddy and his son and myself) will take a knee and thank the One God who gave us all we need and head out west to enjoy what was created for us all. Meat or no meat I'll love and cherish every second........thru blisters and pain......or dodging bolts of lightning .......a whole year of waiting...planning...dreaming... The 11 days will be like a quick blink in our memory someday...... but for now it will be next to heaven here on this earth.
