Bought one pair and they sent me 3 others and they all leaked

hah..the pronghorns are comical.

my friend bought a pair. he got soaked turkey hunting...he had to coat them with sno-seal, right from the get go...i told him to ditch them..any amount of elk hunting would have done them in, if they couldnt survive sitting in a field waiting for a turkey.

i do LOVE their USA made line of boots. my last pair went 11 yrs. no leaks.

i am going to portland in a few weeks. i am stopping at the factory store, just to check stuff out.

Pretty stiff boot. Vibram soles too, somewhat loud. That being said, I love them. Great mountain boot IMHO

I bought the Danner High Ground un-insulated for my elk hunt, and I have been very pleased with them so far. I've hiked a lot, with weight on them, and they haven't given a blister, or even a hot spot yet. I've stood in water for 10 minutes at a time, and feet have stayed completely dry. Hope I don't wish to return them at 11500', or Danner is gonna get an earful!

I agree. Worst boot I have ever used. The two replacement pairs were junk too. Great customer service, though.

I am wearing a pair of Danner Ridgemasters now. I have hiked in them with great comfort. I plan on coating them heavily with water seal to repeal water better hopefully. They are made in USA. I hope they perform as well as my old ones I bought in 1997 but I have my doubts. I will be taking the old ones as a backup.
