Arrow Nocks

Ok I've been shooting more then normal this year prepping for archery elk. And I'm starting to have a nock issue. The are not staying on the string. I shoot easton axis arrows and a winners choice string I've never had this issue before. But last night while sighting in 40-50 and 60 yards, most of my arrows would come off the string as I'd pull back I'm tired of biting the nock as it only last for a shot or two and don't want to deal with that while hunting so I'm thinking I'm going to replace them all if there is not a simple fix? Anyone have a fix for this?

that is weird. but get it fixed.

i use Easton supernocks on my goldtip arrows. goldtip nocks used to split on me. you get a tiny micro crack you cannot see. i risked dropping an arrow and dry firing my bow. my supernocks are awesome.

i would just go and buy a new handful of new nocks and switch them out.

Is your center serving worn down a lot? If so, that may be why the nocks won't hold. If the center serving is fine, I would just replace them. A pack of a dozen nocks should only be around 10 bucks I believe. When u put them on, try to put them on where u want so that they won't need twisted. I've found that twisting nocks with those nock keys can sometimes open the gap of the nock.

Went over to the store at lunch and bought new nocks so i'll throw those on tonight the string is new so it should not be the problem just yet.

I would recommend getting new nocks! But, before removing the nocks from the arrow, mark it so you can index them in the same orientation as the current nocks. Check your serving to see if is worn down any

you need to match the string count/serving size to the nocks you're going to use. The nock should snap on but you can slide it up/down the serving. Probably need to reserve the center serving with the appropriate size serving mtl.

You might have worn serving where the nocks fit. Do they seem to fit better above or below your regular nock point on the serving? If so replace the serving. If they are loose there too. You need smaller nocks or larger serving thread. They should snap on but move up and down like Wapitibob said.

Sounds like it is not the nocks to me also. If they were ok before, then your serving has worn down. Replace the serving before hunting season.

Yep. Easy to re serve yourself as well
