I'm Looking For Gaiters!

Postby ElkNut1 » 08 03, 2013 •  [Post 1]

I'm looking for gaiters that are camo & have a nice contour & fairly snug fit to boots & pants both. I don't like those loose baggy style ones, any one know a good source? Thanks!

I have the Kuiu Yukon. Material is amazing. Water beeds off of them like crazy. Seems durable.

Will use them this fall.

I just bought my first ones and they are the Kuiu Yukon. Like Huntography said, the material is amazing. I will say they did feel a little warm though but I think thats to be expected with any type of gaiter.

Guys thank you! My only issue with those gaitors is that camo they come in, it's nothing like what I wear & I'm not crazy about that army looking pattern, grin. I know the elk don't care but I do! (grin) I do like the nice snug fit look though! Anyone else know where I can see others?

I picked up a set of these last year but didn't get out in the late WA season last year (didn't have an opportunity to use them in field conditions). The Cabelas Gaiters seem very well built and the price is decent. They come in Black and Realtree AP. An option to consider Elknut1. Here's a pic.

I use the Kenetrek gaiters and like them. Need some readjusting after a few miles but I think they're great.

I've had my dog look straight through me with that pattern. I was totally amazed.
