MT unit 314

So I think I have narrowed my research down to unit 314 in Montana seems like there are some elk to be hunted there. Now I'm not looking for any secrets spots but does anyone have any insight on this unit?? Are the wolves bad there? Is the northern part of the unit better than the south? Are there still elk there? Would it be better to backpack in for a a week to get away from human traffic or will I be able to hunt from my vehicle everyday and get into elk? Any kind of info will help this will be my first time out west and being from the east part of the country going before the season and scouting is just not feasible..

How did your hunt go?

I have hunted 10 days so far this year in 314 and missed a bull opening weekend, but just registered with this forum so obviously couldnt help you out this year. A few elk have been killed but overall it's been a tough month for most of the hunters I have talked to.
