Everyday, and I mean everyday, I enjoy reading all of the veteran elk hunters posts, absorbing every peice of valid information I can like a sponge, marking maps, researching equipment, and planning my hunt, based on all the input I read. So when I get on here and there are no posts for today, it makes me sad .

If I didn't do some yard work today the neighbors were gonna call the cops. Frickin' jungle. First cut of the year was brutal. I always wait until I kill me longbeard. This one took a few extra days but was worth the wait after passing up birds for several days. I logged on and saw a couple thread where my post was the last one and said wow.. dead around here. Pretty soon I'll be disappearing myself. Riding the mororcycle more. bear hunting in Canada then back to Canada for a muskie fishing trip. But as a bona fide elknut I'll be checking in when I am online.

Shouldn't be too long before Phantom shows up....... think of a question before he gets here. That way he won't go bald from scratching his head thinking of one himself.
