Would you guys mind helping me out? Some of you know I'm an ecologist. I recently started a project to investigate how weather affects hunter success on big game animals. I don't want to say much about it, in fear of biasing responses. So please just take a minute and give me feedback on how you feel weather affects hunting. It is short! Did it Bird but you mentioned "weather". The survey only covers a few various weather factors. Is there a broader litmus test (more surveys) you're gonna use to gather your info? RJ

Phantom... I'm just trying to get a broad feeling. You are dead right that "weather" is vague, and the survey focuses on temperature really. We have access to some data sets that will actually let us model the effects of different components of "weather" on hunting success and see what is important statistically--or what isn't. I do have ulterior motives--I'm hoping it will be a good example of how "hunter knowledge" is an asset that ecologists and managers should pay attention to. We will see if the data supports what you guys think!

I finished your survey. I hope it may help. As a suggestion, you may want a NA column, since Goat, Sheep, Moose, etc. are a once in a lifetime hunt or for those species we have never hunted.
