2013 License Applications

Postby Magic » 03 09, 2013 •  [Post 1]

Plan "W" improved even better with the Granddaughter's wedding date being moved to the 26th, so we now have smooth sailing, and are back to Plan A.

I did the Colorado online applications this morning. Marty should be assured of getting a license with 10 PP's in a 7 point Unit. I applied for a PP which should give me a better chance for a 1st season license next year.

Beginning last year, only one of us will actually hunt with the other acting as the guide/grunt. That way, we hunt together and can better enjoy our time with each other.

My hunting partner and I did a drop camp bull elk hunt OTC in Unit 54 Colorado last year, 3rd season. We killed a nice 5 X 5. Our tent was at 11,000 ft. We hunted no higher than 12,000 ft. No hunter pressure really. This is a good unit for a drop camp hunt since it is in the West Elk Wilderness.
