Hunting and fishing ban

I recently herd on the Denver News that there was a petition going around for a ballot referendum to eliminate all hunting and fishing or taking of any wildlife in either Washington or Oregon. Don't remember which state it was as I got in on the news cast late. Can anyone share some light on this subject?

It was more than just hunting and fishing. It also included all forms of animal agriculture. It would have ended the ranching business, no milk, no fish, etc. This is why all states need to have a constitutional right to hunt and fish.

It is an Oregon initiative. I have read they have enough signatures to qualify for the November ballot.

WW: don't worry you are not alone. The inmates want to run the asylum here too. I hope/think they have gone too far this time, but I will be voting to try and make sure we don't have to go vegan here in 2027.
