The Grinds all gone

Postby Lefty » 02 19, 2026 •  [Post 1]

If it wasn't a steak it became grind, there is a couple pounds of jerky left. but otherwises we have eaten all the grind/burger from my September bull ,

Mostly meat loaf Sunday dinners, A couple sloppy Joe and spaghetti Sunday dinners.
About 40 packages of steak left. Io try to keep ahead of the ducks and geese through out the season

I'm feeling the effects of no elk for a couple years. 2024 I killed two nice deer, and 2025 I killed a big bear and a buck, but we are all out of backstrap and most of the hindquarter meat is gone. Down to a little grind left and some neck/shoulder roasts. Going to be eating a lot of fish this summer. Crossing my fingers that 2nd Idaho draw comes through with a "B"Tag for me!
I hunt therefore I am. I fish therefore I lie.
