2 Seater

Postby Elkhunttoo » 01 07, 2025 •  [Post 1]

Has anyone ever sat in or hunted out of a 2 seat tree stand. I have looked into getting one to put in a saddle i hunted in this last season. Its a short hike from the road and i wonder if one of my kids wanted to sit in it with me or my wife it would be a good opportunity for them to get out and about. In looking into them they dont look very sturdy to me. Maybe they are better then they look but that is one of my worries. One of the things that i like about the thought is how much room i would have for all day sits. Anyway, does anyone have and experience with them and what are your thoughts?

We use lots of double ladder stands for whitetail hunting. 16 feet high, with camo around the seating area. Plenty room for two and great for single hunters to have room to stretch.

I have never tried one. They are appealing. I would ask first to see if your wife or kid would enjoy going out and can sit still for hours.

My wife already hunts with me. I think it would be enjoyable some mornings or evenings sitting together. Not as efficient but if one of us has already filled a tag it might be fun to sit together for a morning or evening.

My youngest kid will be 13 this fall and they enjoy going…hand them an electronic and they will be fine :D

Also you can get a roof to go over the ladder to help when it is raining.
