Trumkin The Dwarf

Postby 7mmfan » 11 14, 2024 •  [Post 1]

Has anyone heard from Molachi in a while? It looks like he was last active on the site in April of 2023. He was very active and participated in discussions often, but I knew he had some health issues. When guys like that drop off the radar suddenly, it worries me. Anyway, was just thinking about him today, wondering if he was still around.

No doubt. I’ll track down his email and do a health and welfare check.

Hey fellas!

RJ got hold of me and reminded me I'd dropped off the map. Thanks for checking up on me 7mm, I'm doing well, just real busy. Somehow my wife got pregnant (still confused how that works  ) and had a baby girl last year. That sped life up a lot, and then I went and quit my job in January to be a full time dad and part time woodworker in my garage. I've been designing a real fancy custom fly box, and that's eaten up a lot of spare time. All that to say, I haven't really had much time to think about elk hunting, and forums kinda went on the back burner for a while.

I did hunt CO mule deer with my longbow in September and wound up getting robbed on a good shot at a nice 4pt. Had to slip it under a dead pine limb and the broadhead nicked it just enough to miss the buck. Now that I've got my login fixed I'll try to stop by more frequently!

Good to hear from you! Those are nice looking fly boxes by the way. And congrats on the new addition to the family.

Thanks fellas! My little girl is the best kid in the world. Started out sleeping through the night at about 8 weeks old, and hasn't let up. She even fell asleep on my back while setting trail cams a few weeks ago . Not to mention she's adorable and threatening to be a big chatterbox.
