In honor of the last words of Flight 93 on Sept 11.....Let's Roll!

Today is get-a-way day. Just have to grocery shop and finish loading the trailer. my buddy cannot leave until 4 pm, so I am in no hurry. We will drive til about 10 or so and then find a hotel. We will have a stop in Bozeman on Friday to fill up our water containers. Should be in camp tomorrow afternoon.

This year we will have varied accommodations. We have a remote cabin rented for the first part of our stay. My dad will sleep in his pickup camper. Then we move about 400 yards and will stay in my enclosed trailer. I sleep better in that enclosed trailer while in griz country. Call me a wuss, but I just sleep better.

While I am gone, will someone please keep an eye on Swede. No telling what kind of mischief he will get in if he is unsupervised.

Good luck wuss! Enjoy that trailer. Hope all goes well. Long trips like that always make me worried about mechanical issues. I'm at the mechanic right now having some preventative maintenance done on the truck to ensure my trip next month goes smoothly.

Since Swede isn't in elk camp, I've been worried he would just be causing lots of trouble, but he seems to be behaving himself. I'll knock on his door periodically to make sure he's not up to something untoward. Better yet, we'll just institute an open door policy in this house.

Swede has just been waiting for you to get gone. I will try to behave, but that is difficult under the best of circumstances. With you leaving the only one not in elk camp that I need to watch out for is WapitiTalk1.
