WY opportunity in NorthWest area of state.

My Son and I just got back from a fishing trip to WY and MT.

We were invited to stay and hunt on an original homestead four miles into the National forest. This property is North off Chief Joseph Highway North of Cody WY. the next valley over from Sunlight Basin. This is a beautiful area big valley surrounded by mountains. I understand the wolf have really cut the elk heard. We actually were in Yellowstone and Tetons and and did not see a single Elk.

Anyone have any experience in this area or know the draw odds?

I’d have to know the unit to be able to check the odds. I’d check both the special and the regular odds maybe random odds as well. Message me if you want and I’ll look it up for you.

My last month's photo was up in Sunlight Iwe did see elk,, and elksign.
Still elk there,,, but they got the jitter bugs from wolves and griz

I figure the odds are much better for Archery, but open to both.

I looked at the reg book and it is hard for me to tell which unit? There is several small units in the NW corner. I figured one familiar with the area would know the unit.
