North Idaho elk hunting

Just got back from grandmas funeral in Iowa. I'm hoping to get general updates on wolf activity, if the elk were active during archery and any friendly advice for the October rifle season. Thanks in advance for any information!!!

I haven't been out much, pretty quiet year (other than one real noisy sucker that ended up in my freezer). I have seen some wolf sign, haven't heard any this year. We do a better job than most with wolves-thank you foundation for wildlife. It seems like in my area wolf numbers have dropped the last five years.
