Hello Ben. My elk hunting partner and myself have been accumulating points . After this year we will have 3, I believe that should put us in a good position to draw.
We do not have a spot picked out yet . All my efforts have been geared toward my elk hunts.

How some things change.
I member when all of Iowa was over the counter.
A friend bought then moved to Iowa and developed some property for big whitetails. He came home one day and his wife was packing, She had found a new house. Some wealthy dude had bought all the adjoining land and offered my buddy big bucks ( pun intended) for his place
