chuckler el vs xtr

I am looking at some packages from the elknut store and am in limbo over which chuckler to get. Can anyone chime in with a bit of wisdom here. I know the xtr has a mouth peice, but can it also be used with just reeds. I spent all winter with one in my mouth trying to break my gagging reflex, I think I am ready to focus those efforts into making good sounds.

i got the XTR and dont regret it. i have trouble using it without the mouth reed still so it came in really handy to have it. its even easy for my daughter to use.

Sam, the Chuckler XTR does have the slide in or slide out XTR mouthpiece. It takes one second to install or remove. The XTR Model you ask about is the best of both worlds, it can be used with mouth reeds or the built in mouthpiece. Many hunters pickup the XTR to have one model that works either way, thanks!
