I've been on the bowsite, archerytalk, elkcamp, elkmentors, and many sites that are no longer even around, either under this handle or Lew.

The archery elk season was good to me.
7X5 bull on 9/9/2015.
Hunted hard from the opening day until the afternoon of the 9th.
Called in 8 bulls. Out of those I had hunters miss 3 and I passed on a couple.
The bull I killed came on the run and I shot him at 10' from a little blind I was setup in.
Seemed to me there were a lot more hunters out this year in my area.
We had 5 guys in camp and it was 100% shot opportunity.
I put more miles on my boots this year than I have in the last 10!
My Colorado Eastern plains deer tag is in my pocket and I may hang stands up this weekend.
With some cooler weather finally moving in, it sorta feels like I should be sitting in a tree waiting for a buck to amble by.
