guides in co for 2016

With my lack of experience hunting elk, My hunting partner and I have decided that we may save some money this winter to afford a guide for a few days to a week. I am looking for a guide who can show me the hows and whys we do things, not just put me onto animals. I have hunted all my life, but generally with a rifle when I was younger and most often we went after deer not elk. I am now an elk hunting addict, and would like to learn more about it. I know I learn best from watching someone do something then reproducing it, and have never been good at learing from reading.(which is why I am getting elknuts dvd's when the season ends) I would prefer to be hunting public land, likely in OTC units. I know there are a few outfitters and guides on the site, is this something that I might be able to find?
I understand that not every guide and outfitter is the same, and some may want to help me more then others. So if anyone has any tips on where to start I would be much obliged.

I'd recommend these guys. Their primary area is an easy draw except archery and MZ season. They do however have camps in 2 adjoining Units that do offer OTC tags. They offer a ton of options. I've not personally hunted with them, but we hunt their areas and we run into their guides/clients a couple times a year and also their neighbors in the valley tending their cattle herds on the valley floor. They are extremely nice folks and highly helpful to us without prompting. I've recommended a few folks to these guys, and so far have had nothing but great feedback.
