Front Range Colorado Archery Shop

I need a recommendation for a good Archery shop in the Front Range area of Colorado. I live in Western Nebraska, and I am not comfortable with the hit or miss service and information we get at Cabelas. My wife wants to try an Elite Spirit, and I want to try a couple of Elite Bows (Synergy, and Energy 35) and maybe a Hoyt Carbon Spyder.

Depending on which part of the front range I can recommend 4 shops to you. I have personally dealt with all of them and the service has been excellent. If you are in Ft. Collins I would talk with Stuart at Rocky Mountain Archery which is on the South end of Ft. Collins. I am not sure if he is an elite dealer but I know that he handles Hoyt and Quest bows. My other Ft. Collins Recommendation would be Gannat Ridge they are located on the North end of Ft. Collins and they handle Bow Tec bows and I believe elite but not positive on the elite. JAX in Ft. Collins bought out Arrow Dynamics a few years ago which is sad cause Jim was the best in town at tuning bows and working on them. JAX handles Mathews. I have not dealt with them as far as service but they are a larger size shop and can handle most everything. But again I have no history with them servicing my stuff. If you are in the Longmont area I would go to Archery In the Wild Boyd Wild will be happy to help you out and they are a large shop and always busy. I know he carries lots of different bows but they are manly a Hoyt deal. If you are in the Denver area. You can go to No Limits Archery they do handle Elite, Mathews, and Hoyt Bows. They have a 40 yard indoor range plus a DART system. I hope this helps you out.

Very helpful. I was looking at Archery in the Wild since I have family in the area. All about the same drive for me. My brother in Castle Rock likes the shop in Colorado Springs but that is an extra 2 hours and traffic for me.

For the front range I think the better shops are first Bear Creek Archery in Englewood, followed by Tanglewood in norther Denver. There are a couple of new ones since I switched to a longbow but do not know there quality. They are QuickDraw Archery in Littleton,CO and Full Rut in Parker, CO. Unless No Limits has dramatically improved in the past 8 years they are only good for long distance indoor 3d shooting.

If you're closer to Cheyenne, give a call to Bullseye Archery. I don't know if they have any of the Elite bows, but they do have the Hoyt, Mission, and Mathews lines. They don't have a full range, just a bale in a corner to get the feel of the bow.

Thanks guys. Cheyenne is actually closer for me. I am looking for a shop with expert advice and customer service since none are truly convenient. This list is very helpful.
