Hornhunter, get a couple reeds from both on their recommendation as to what they feel is best for you & give both a try then you can choose what's working best for you! I'm sure both Troy & Travis would be more than willing to help you out!

Yes we would be happy to help find the right call for you. Finding the correct reed call for you is not as simple as using what everyone else is using. The whole key is finding the proper fitting reed that suits your calling style.

We had a hunter using a Pink Lady and lucked out and shot a bull that scored 402 using only cow sounds ! But there is no way I'm going to tell you to only use cow sounds and I certainly am not saying you will also call in a huge bull with that reed either ! You have to be in the right place at the right time and have all kinds of luck for that to happen !

Elk calls are tools just like wind checker and scents. Along with your camo and selected bow or rifle, pack and boots you have a complete package for a successful elk hunt.

We wish you the best of luck with your search.

I have just received my shipment from Wapiti River and am very impressed so far! A pleasure to do business with and his calls instantly made me a better caller. I really like the Reaper. It is a very comfortable call that is super easy to use.

Here is one I called in for a Kryptek prostaffer Cody V
Here is one that my buddy Alan took with an Orange Enrager.
Actually all of these 3 bulls fell victim of the Orange Enrager.
Why do so many BIG Bulls fall to Glacier Country Hunting Calls ???

Here is a Qoute from Kryptek Prostaffer Cody V posted on my Facebook page " Since I started using Glacier Country Hunting Calls in 2011, I have taken 3 nice 6 pt bulls. Troy's calls are simply the best on the market. In the last 4 years I have polled a large number of Rocky Mountain Elk from Montana to Utah and all agree that the Orange Enrager as well as the Watermelon are irresistible. Thanks Troy Bungay for making such great calls. I found this years bull 7 miles in the back country. He had been pushed there by intense hunting pressure. I'm certain that this September he heard every elk call ever made, but he couldn't resist the Orange Enrager. I called to this bull twice and he was in my lap.
Glacier Country Hunting Calls are always the last one they hear."

I know everyone is a little different, but I have found GCHCs very easy to use and make great sounds with. I would advise the same as Elknut and go with what works best for you.
