This year I have run into 6 or more different bull moose in that immediate vicinity, got 20 yards from one today in fact. And I have a couple on that camera that I havent seen in person. Lots of moose around. That is in my top 3 spots in my neighborhood that I intend to look for paddles when they start dropping. Only problem is, depending on what the weather does, it may be a REAL pain to get there before May. The way in is still very clear right now however, we are having an abnormally mild winter. raining buckets right now, but of course when i was out deer hunting last month it was like 5 degrees every morning.

well yesterday i talked a guy i know into coming up to a spot where i see a lot of moose in the winter to look for sheds. He found this bulls right side, plus the left from a bull if similar size. We looked around for this guys other side but no luck yet. Ill keep trying as time allows. Would be cool to match him up.

Never saw any pics. Id post up pics of yesterdays paddles but my service at my new house is awful and trying to resize the pic on my phone here would be a pain. Pm me your email if you want to see the horns.

I've always heard that when 1 side fall off on a moose the other isn't to far away, because it so lopsided on his head to carry. is that true?
