ATA Show

Someone wanted a report on my success at the ATA show. I will not go as a vendor again.
The crowd there is 95% eastern hunters. If I had a new tree stand or a broadhead that had a four inch cut I would be the star of the show.

James, bummer! But I know how you feel! I've been to Shows where I knew there were lots of folks coming through only to find out most were fisherman! (grin) Those are long non productive weekends! (grin)

James, I would have thought that area and the eastern cats would have been interested in the turkey decoy? Just visited your store (reminds me, I need to order another decoy or two before this fall; a MD and another elk..I like to share with whoever hunts with me) and noticed you don't have a whitetail decoy. Wonder if those would have garnered some interest? RJ

The ATA show is mostly about buyers going to place orders at known companies. I did make a good contact with a shop that is in Colorado so it wasn't all in vain.

I do have a whitetail decoy but not on my website yet.
I had a fella in Illinois that was trying it out. I need to contact him and see how it worked.

I had one man from Hawaii request a boar hog decoy so I made him one. That should be interesting. Boars are very territorial and can't see very good, hope he can stop him.

Ha, perfect. Now that's a decoy, one that makes you go into defense mode!

I can attest that the folks on the Hawaiian Islands love there pig hunting. There are actually Axis deer and Columbian Black Tail deer on a couple islands too.

I did that show last year and found the same. If your a huge company buyers are coming to place orders but if your small they walk right past and don't even give you a look !! It's sad really but I guess that's called paying our due's until we get bigger. If you ask me it's there loss !! Many of the smaller guys have some of the best products out there !! LOL
