So I guess it's a done deal. I have no choice but to go on an elk hunt now. I told the wife that if I ever spent a dime on anything elk hunting related that it was finished. Maybe when my buddies see me trying to do elk bugles they will catch the fever as hard as I have. What will the neighbors think when they hear that?

Funny you mention the neighbors. Just yesterday MtnMutt was telling me she moved into a new apartment and the neighbor's dog doesn't care for her bugling practice sessions.

I've had more than one person tell me how similar to turkey hunting it is. Chasing birds is my thing. I love being able to get out and move around. I love working birds. I sit around the house making calls and practicing turkey calling. I watch all the videos that Primos does. I'm a turkey nut.

Soooooo.....if the two are that similar I'm in BIG trouble.

Well.....let's not tell the wife. I swear if I hear ONE....JUST ONE.... bugle I may use my vacation every year in April and Sept/Oct. This is bad.....really, really bad.....I think I need to puke. Can't believe you would do that to me.
