LOL! You know what is serious torture . . . is that this is in a "draw only" unit! At least I thought I remember reading that it was at the time. Our little neighborhood is in the far SW corner of the Toutle GMU. This was 2 years ago. I sure do miss living up there, that's for sure. Always elk and deer in our yard and all through the neighborhood. There's a 20 acre clear-cut just up the road that I would swing by on my deer hunt rounds too. Missed a BT doe at 40 yards because I used my 50 yard pin by accident in that clear-cut.

Indian Summer that is some beautiful county. I need to take a extra day when I go to Colorado and travel farther west to see more of the state. The eastern part I travel through does not look anything like your pics.

Hi all - New to the forum here but have been lurking for a year or so. I've been bowhunting the last three years and have some experience hunting elk and deer with a rifle. After reading Elknut's playbook, not sure what i was doing in the woods before, but am excited to get my calling up to snuff and turning some success into regular success. Appreciate all the insight given on this site! Hope you enjoy a few more shots of great country!
