The end is near

It doesnt even feel like the season started.
Some ho and windy days, a bit of rain, lots of hunters. Headed back out Friday.
Im taking Monday off to give the elk their last chance to mess with me.

Well the trucks loaded and ready to go.

Last night I called Dave at 9:15, poor guy was still working. He is so backed up on work he only got out once and wont be along for what has always been the best weekend .

As far as elk it has been the poorest year ever. Maybe in part due to the fires last year, but the new hunters have really put the preasure on the elk
If there isnt an influcx of elk Ill be hunting somewhere else next year
